COMIT Compact Mine Detector Technologies (www.comit.com.tr) is a Turkish company founded by a group of leading industrial companies in Bursa, Turkiye that manufactures and markets the lightest metal mine detector in the World, dubbed as CMT-100 (NATO Stock Number:6665-27-066-5416), which is widely used in operations for detecting mines for military and humanitarian purposes as well as in detecting Improvised Explosives Devices (IEDs). It was procured by the Turkish and allied armies to date and has been in use quite successfully since then. It has rapidly become an indispensable equipment for the soldiers operating in threat areas and war zones for our customers.

The CMT-100 has undergone rigorous field tests with M14 A/P and several mines which contains the minimum amount of metal in it by the Civil Engineering School Command of the Turkish Army at a variety of depths complying with all national and international standards(IMAS). The results obtained in this test once again assure that the CMT-100 is comfortably capable of detecting all other types of mines and EODs with metal contents in them. The CMT-100 can be easily used for humanitarian mine clearance projects productively and with minimum false alarm rates.

COMIT Engineering also presents and markets ALPER Hand-Held Mine Detection System designed and developed by TUBITAK-BILGEM institute which has a very efficiently combined Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and EMI capability together to satisfy the requirements of its customers seeking such a combined capability in the equipment.
